Can you help?
Looking for footage and/or photos of Vietnam, and especially of B Troop 2nd Squadron 17th Cavalry Regiment, 101st Airborne Division for a documentary film that includes Terry O. Atkinson, April 1970 to March 1971.
If anyone should find any footage or photographs, please have them contact my colleague Stephanie Chang at 212-456-5713 or myself Amada Chavez at 212-456-5886.

Dear Mr. Schave and Mr. Matthews,
The West Point Center for Oral History is currently working on an hour-long documentary film covering the years of the Vietnam War. Our production company, The Documentary Group, is doing the actual film editing.
One of the characters in the documentary is Terry O. Atkinson, a graduate of West Point, and a member of B Troop 2nd Squadron 17th Cavalry Regiment, 101st Airborne Division. I am writing to you because we are on the continual search for footage and/or photos of Vietnam, and especially of the B Troop 2nd Squadron 17th Cavalry Regiment, 101st Airborne Division, in order for us to accurately and powerfully relate Terry O. Atkinson's experience in Vietnam. We have been working very closely with Mr. Atkinson when it comes to this project.

I am wondering if you are aware of anyone within the unit who may have a repository of film footage of the time for potential use in this project, or if you would be willing to pass this request along. I know you both are in charge of the website and maybe you can help us by forwarding this on to the email list.
I deeply appreciate your help in this, and please feel free to get in touch if you have any questions.
Warm regards,
Amada Chavez--
